THE DILEMMA
The biggest problem about living in residential areas, apartments, in commercial offices, stores, commercial buildings are parking spaces. There is no bigger frustration than coming home after a long day and finding your parking spot occupied by someone else's car. At that moment, all one wants to do is rip someone's throat out because let's accept it; for how long can someone keep writing notes and keep leaving it for the owner to find out and not park in their spot. If there was some sort of guarantee that writing notes or doing something similar would ensure a parking space from the next time, life would be so much simpler right auto parking barrier bd!
THE SOLUTION
Every problem has a solution to it if you know how and where to look. For parking-related issues, the only solution that everyone would settle for is to restrict their designated parking space completely. "No one should even dare to park in my space" is what the thought process of everyone is. The solution to this problem has been solved by technology through something as simple as a lock: a lock that completely prohibits others from occupying your parking bay and leaving you cursing and full with rage. These locks (known as parking locks) have the simplest of jobs- to ensure that while they are engaged, no other car can occupy the parking space on which the lock has been put on and activated by the owner. These locks can be activated through multiple ways- using the standard lock and key system, or it can be controlled automatically through Bluetooth, Infrared, WiFi, or the Internet.
THE WORKING
The working of parking locks is fairly simple. The locks that are activated manually though work in a different manner than those that work automatically.
The manual locks work in a manner where the owner has to raise a barrier that is activated once its padlock has been properly unlocked (through a designated key). This barrier can then be placed in the parking spot on a solid cemented surface to prevent anyone from hijacking your place. Many would be thinking right now that you could probably just lift off the entire structure, move it elsewhere, and take up the space. But no. The entire setup is fixed onto the spot in such a manner that no one can pry it and move it elsewhere. Also, its positioning is made such that it does not allow for enough room for a vehicle to somehow bypass it. Once the owner is back, he/she can simply unlock the padlock, lower the barrier, and park in their bays peacefully.
The automatic locks are fairly easy to use. They work something similar to a garage clicker. A simple push of a button on the remote and an inverted U-shaped projection of sorts rises from the sides up to a height that cannot allow any vehicle to pass over it. Auto locks are mostly Bluetooth controlled, but that doesn't matter. They all work the same.
